Description
This course is intended for candidates who want to: take the next step in training to become a counsellor (having already acquired counselling skills Level 2); and learn more about counselling theory and agency work. The course runs for 3 hours per week for 30 weeks. Learners to be 19+ on the course starting date.
There may be times when the lessons will be held remotely, via live video calls, use of our Moodle area, private social media groups etc. By signing up to the course you are agreeing to this wide range of teaching and learning approaches;
What Will I Learn On This Course?
Learners will:
1. Understand how to set up as a sole trader
2. Define their business vision and craft a unique selling proposition (USP)
3. Understanding branding and how to develop a brand identity

To enrol onto these creative business skills development courses, tailored for artists, makers, designers, photographers, and other creative professionals, you must either be currently employed or actively pursuing the establishment of your own creative business.

Please be aware that whilst this course is practical in nature some sessions will include theory and professional related training such as H&S, risk assessments, public liability etc

What Is The Attendance Policy?
Multiple sessions-
To get the most out of your course you will need to attend as many sessions as possible. We recommend at least 90%. If you do have a holiday booked during term time, please let the tutor know in advance so that we can help you catch up on missed sessions and ensure that you still achieve the course outcomes. If you are unavoidably ill or unable to attend, please contact 01634 338400 so that we can let your tutor know, and so they can send you any work you may have missed
