Description
This course is designed for those who have attanded the beginners to improvers course or who have experience. Mixed ability course.
Your progress in learning will be discussed with you by your tutor and recorded on your personal progress plan. Approximately 15 - 20 Minutes in your first and last class will be used to discuss and record your entry knowledge, progression and achievement.
Do all the above and even more if you practice regularly between classes.
What will I learn on this course?
By the end of the course you should be able to:
1. Accurately and confidently tune a ukulele.
2. Strum at least 3 different rhythms confidently.
3. Play sequences of chords in different rhythms forming at least 3 different songs.
*Note that each learner will be set specific targets based on the above and their individual starting point.

This course is designed for those with some experience.
Is there anything I need to know about the course?
You will need to bring your own ukulele to each session. You should also bring a music stand- the tutor can help advise you on this at the first session.
What could I go on to do after this course?
On completion of the beginners to progression course, course learners could progress onto an ‘Improvers’ course, details of which will be discussed with the group by the tutor. We also run guitar classes, details of which are in the directory- or through your tutor.
Your course tutor will also discuss your individual progression options, e.g. taking music exams.

Attendance Policy
In order to get the most out of your course you will need to attend as many sessions as possible. We recommend at least 85%. If you do have a holiday booked during term time please let the tutor know in advance so that we can help you catch up on missed sessions and ensure that you still achieve the course outcomes. If you are unavoidably ill or unable to attend, please contact 01634 338400 so that we can let your tutor know, and so they can send you any work you may have missed
