Description
Whether you would like to learn new creative skills or to look into the possibility of a new art-based career, MAE Community Learning courses can provide you with a stepping stone to progress.
Join us in our purpose built art studios in Rochester for this relaxing and fun workshop. You will be guided through the art of life drawing, with a model, and hone your artist skills.
This enjoyable class, led by our life drawing tutor, will cover the foundational skills in measuring, proportion, and figure drawing to create your own works. This class is suitable for beginners and those experienced in life drawing.
What will I learn on this course?
Learners will:
1. Learn basic Line and Shape Mastery, demonstrate skills in at least 1 piece.
2. Show an understanding of form and proportion in at least 1 image.
3. Experiment with charcoal and pencil marks, in at least 1 piece.

Attendance Policy
This is one session course- please attend for the duration of the lesson. If you enrol and then cannot attend please inform us as soon as possible so that your place can be given to someone else.
How are digital skills used and enhanced on this course
Information technology may be used to introduce skills, techniques, and the work of other artists along with safe internet usage. Whilst you do not need any IT skills to enrol on this course, please do speak to the tutor if this is an area you would like to explore.
