Join our electric guitar course led by a professional tutor, designed for both beginners and those with some experience.
Discover the fundamentals of guitar playing while exploring various chords to enhance your musical abilities.
This course offers a supportive environment for you to experiment and try new techniques, enabling you to develop your skills and pursue your passion for guitar playing. Whether you've always wanted to play a specific song or improve your improvisation, this course is the perfect opportunity to grow as a musician.

WHAT WILL I LEARN ON THIS COURSE?
Learners will:
1. Tune a guitar using a tuner or by ear.
2. Strum at least 3 different chords
3. Play sequences of chords in rhythm forming at least 2 songs
Note that each learner will be set specific targets based on the above and their individual starting point.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS COURSE?
Please be aware that whilst this course is practical in nature some sessions will include theory and professional related training such as H&S, risk assessments, public liability etc
Learners will need the following tools and equipment please do not purchase until you are sure the course will run:
Learners need to provide their own electric guitar, plectrums, and music stand.
WILL THERE BE ADDITIONAL COSTS?
You will need to bring your own guitar and plectrums to each session.
You should also bring a music stand - the tutor can help advise you on this at the first session.
