Description
Creative Writing 3 enhances participants' writing abilities by exploring genre-specific fiction and scripts, emphasising techniques for publishing finished works. Through engaging discussions, practical exercises, and collaborative activities, students will develop and refine their skills, focusing on creating works with commercial potential. This comprehensive approach aims to prepare participants to confidently pursue external publishing opportunities and advance their writing careers.

WHAT WILL I LEARN ON THIS COURSE?
Learners will:
1. Be able to write several short pieces that explore the tropes and expectations of genre readers.
2. Understand the process of submitting your work for commercial publication.
3. Explore the modern alternatives to printed publications, such as self-publishing and online distribution.

IS THIS COURSE SUITABLE FOR ME?
Suitable for beginners and those with some experience of creative writing, aimed at those who have completed Creative writing 1 and or 2.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS COURSE?
Please be aware that whilst this course is practical in nature some sessions will include theory and paperwork form filling.
There will be assignments to complete between classes, these should usually take 2-3 hours to complete each week.
