What will I learn on this course?
1. Use basic maths skills to create at least 3 items to sell. 2. Use literacy skills to create at least 1 item to market / advertise your sale. 3. Identify at least 3 different transferrable skills that could help you into paid employment / develop you as a maker or seller.

Is this course suitable for me?
Suitable for beginners and those with some pottery experience.

Is there anything else I need to know about the course?
No open toed shoes in the pottery studio. Long hair must be tied back, please bring your own hair ties. All tools and resources are provided for learner use. Please bring your own apron (and take home & wash each week).

Will there be additional costs?
All items produced must be for sale, learners may wish to purchase items at the end of course, tabletop sale.

What could I go on to do after this course?
Your tutor can talk to you about other subject related course available. Medway Adult Education works with many partners locally such as medway School of Art and the University of Kent; information about their courses can be found in our studios, café and on Moodle.
