Description
This craft club is aimed at a mixture of local native speaking residents and ESOL learners wishing to extend their English Language skills whist engaging in a social craft activity.
These craft sessions are suitable for all levels, beginner to experienced crafter.
What will I learn on this course?
Learners will:
1. Observe MAE health and safety appropriate to the room and craft being explored.
2. Explore at least one craft skill.
3. Design, pland and complete least one craft project piece.
Will there be additional costs?
Initial resources and materials will be supplied for learners to experiment in the first sessions. As projects develop, learners may be expected to resource their own workwith guidance on selecting recycled and budget materials.
What could I go on to do after this course?
The tutor will talk more with you about this over the course. Medway Adult Education run a range of creative courses- many at the Rochester Hub, but also at other partner venues.
Attendance Policy
Multiple sessions-
In order to get the most out of your course you will need to attend as many sessions as possible. We recommend at least 90%. If you do have a holiday booked during term time, please let the tutor know in advance so that we can help you catch up on missed sessions and ensure that you still achieve the course outcomes. If you are unavoidably ill or unable to attend, please contact 01634 338400 so that we can let your tutor know, and so they can send you any work you may have missed
