What Will I Learn On This Course?
Learners will: 1. Learn the basics of threading and using a sewing machine 2. Complete an appliqued Christmas sack, learning tricks of the trade to achieve a more professional finish 3. Learn at least one new technique along the way i.e. piping, applique or overlocking Whether you would like to learn new creative skills or to investigate the possibility of a new sewing-based career, MAE Community Learning courses can provide you with a stepping stone to progress

Suitable for complete beginners or those who have rusty skills and need a refresher course

Is There Anything Else I Need To Know About This Course?
Please be aware that whilst this course is practical in nature some time will be set aside for form filling and H&S procedures. Learners do not need to bring anything on this day (except their lunch), although if you already have some sewing tools, you may like to bring them with you to use on the day.

What Is The Attendance Policy?
Single session- This is one session course- please attend for the duration of the lesson. If you enrol and then cannot attend, please inform us as soon as possible on 01634 338400 so that your place can be given to someone else.
