Course Information Sheet

Description

This is an Art Specialism course level 1A course.

Join our new "Art - Curation Skills and Producing Work for Exhibition" course at our historic Rochester centre. Our professional tutor, who is also a working artist, will guide you through the course which is designed to equip participants with both practical and theoretical knowledge essential for creating and showcasing art.

The curriculum will cover the principles of curation, including how to select and arrange works effectively in various exhibition spaces. Hands-on experience will culminate in a specially curated show at the Rochester Centre, providing an opportunity for participants to display their work publicly and gain valuable feedback, fostering a deeper understanding of the art exhibition process.

Learners will not be creating new artworks within this course, they will be exploring how to promote and exhibit their own work.
