Join our electric guitar course led by a professional tutor, designed for both beginners and those with some experience. Discover the fundamentals of guitar playing while exploring various chords to enhance your musical abilities. This course offers a supportive environment for you to experiment and try new techniques, enabling you to develop your skills and pursue your passion for guitar playing. Whether you've always wanted to play a specific song or improve your improvisation, this course is the perfect opportunity to grow as a musician.

What Will I Learn On This Course?
Learners will:
1. Tune a guitar using a tuner or by ear.
2. Strum 3 different chords
3. Play sequences of chords in rhythm forming at least 1 song
Note that each learner will be set specific targets based on the above and their individual starting point.

Please be aware that whilst this course is practical in nature some sessions will include theory and professional related training such as H&S, risk assessments, public liability etc

Learners need to provide their own electric guitar and plectrums
Will There Be Additional Costs?
You will need to bring your own guitar to each session.
You should also bring a music stand- the tutor can help advise you on this at the first session.

What Is The Attendance Policy?
Multiple sessions-
To get the most out of your course you will need to attend as many sessions as possible. We recommend at least 90%. If you do have a holiday booked during term time, please let the tutor know in advance so that we can help you catch up on missed sessions and ensure that you still achieve the course outcomes. If you are unavoidably ill or unable to attend, please contact 01634 338400 so that we can let your tutor know, and so they can send you any work you may have missed
